We purchased No Dice from Symens Brothers Limousin in South Dakota. He is long bodied, heavy muscled and very correct in his structure. No Dice is a carcass powerhouse; his ribeye EPD is in the top 1% of the breed. As a yearling he scanned a 19.04 ADJ ribeye with an estimated yield grade over 70%. He also performed very well from wean to yearling weight moving from mid group to top 5 in YW in his contemporary group ending with a 1317 ADJ yearling weight.  We are excited to see his calves in 2027 which should add performance, superior carcass and docility in a moderate birth weight package.  Pictured as a yearling.

We purchased Moderator from Symens Brothers Limousin in South Dakota. He is an extremely thick and long bodied for his moderate frame size. We selected him for his massive length, milk, maternal background, docility, marbling and to add some black hides as we no longer have any black cows in the herd.  His first set of calves are on the ground in 2026 and are looking good although we only got one black calf out of him! Pictured as a two-year-old.

We purchased Joyride from Vaughn Farms Limousin in North Dakota to use on our heifers and improve maternal traits. He is a thick, deep, masculine, and super docile TREF Gunpowder 290G son. We were very impressed with his highly productive dam, at 15 she is still in production and has a beautiful udder. We have used him extensively on heifers and cows without any issue. Now that his daughters in are production we are really impressed with the improved fleshing ability, feed efficiency, increased milk production with perfect utters, excellent feet and great maternal instincts. At 6 years old he is our senior herd bull and with perfect untouched feet and excellent fleshing ability he is proving his longevity with no sign of slowing down.

We purchased Hammer from Vaughn Farms Limousin in North Dakota. He is a long bodied, heavy muscled, and docile TOMV Diesel 619D son. His EPDs put him in the top 10% for GEST, WW, YW, TM, STAY, DOC, REA and YG. As expected, his calves have added growth and performance while maintaining the superior carcass traits and docility we strive for. We only used him on mature cows with his higher BW but with over 90 calves on the ground and only 2 assists on mispresented calves his tall-lengthy calves with nice narrow heads don't keep us up at night. They come easy and early at birth then explode with muscle just like a Limousin calf should.  His calves preform really well in the feed lot with some of the best tenderness and highest yield grade we have ever had. His daughters are very maternal and are passing on his extra length of body and muscle.

We purchased Goldmine from Grooms Limousin in Ohio. He is a sound, traditional built Fullblood we purchased for his maternal qualities, length of body, and muscle. His first group of calves hit the ground in the spring 2022 and they are showing plenty of muscle in their large frames. We will only use him on mature cows.

Apollo is a smooth made high percentage purebred bull that has left us with an excellent group of females. His daughters have great maternal instincts, beautiful udders, sound feet, and nice temperaments. He has proven to be a great choice to use on heifers. We have finished alot of his calves for our custom beef clients. They are medium-large framed with superior carcass yield and nicely marbled tender beef even when harvested lean.

The Millers purchased Neptune for their commercial herd in 2012 and sold him with the herd to Brad & Rachel in 2015. Neptune is a Wulf's Ransom son, so he brought us great calving ease and docility. His calves were small, hardy, and lively therefore a great choice for heifers. He left us a great group of sound and gentle females that are lasting well into their teen years. We have finished many of his calves over the years and true to the breed have performed well.

The Fullblood bull that started our passion for the Limousin breed. Rachel's parents purchased him for their commercial herd in 2000 and were very impressed with his calves' muscle, carcass yield, and docility. Docility is a trait we take very seriously especially in bulls; Jocko's docility has been unmatched by any bull we have owed up until the purchase of Hammer in March of 2021. No one can recall Jocko running even if the herd took off, he would continue walking along at his own pace. He left us very nice group of long bodied well-muscled cows with great udders that were consistent producers for many years. Ever since we have exclusively used Limousin sires for our herd and don't plan to go back.
